163. Just an Update

Time flies! It's already middle of the year and it has been full of unpredictable moments.

January, as usual, was a rewarding month. It was the beginning of my working life at kindergarten and I seriously learnt a lot. I learnt to bathe the children, to clean vomit, to get toddlers to sleep, to tell stories to toddlers and to carry a baby. Honestly, I am quite proud of myself that I managed to stand for months there. The principal told me some young teachers my age, came for the first day and never returned. Glad to hear that but I myself, too, wonder where did the patience come from. I can't say I love children very much but I don't dislike them either and surprisingly, I actually grew fond of them day by day.
January, too, is my birthday month. Quite fortunate to be able to celebrate my 20th with some friends whom I treasure.

February. One major event of the month would be Chinese New Year, and this year's the most boring Chinese New Year I ever had in my life.We had a frustrating journey back to Ipoh which took us more than 6 hours!!
On the night of Valentine's Day, a week after Chinese New Year, after the whole yum-cha session with other singles at EuroHouse, which was truly enjoyable, I got blocked by the police on my way home and thank god, I had my ID and licence with me or else, I would be in dead trouble. But got a lecture by mum for returning home late. I wouldnt be late if the police didnt stop me. STPM result was released earlier than everyone had expected. I got a CGPA 3.0 which I think is quite bad but everything's over now and I might just as while move on.

I will never forget 4th March 2011! I finally get to attend Jay Chow's concert for real!! It was a dream come true! It would be better if we were in the rock zone. Would be best if Jolin turned up! HAHA! Anyway, I too, got to take picture with 2 local artistes, Gary Yap and Wind.

Nothing exceptional happened in April except Prince William and Kate's wedding. Well, it has nothing to do with me though. MMSB had its Sports Day at Polo Ground on 17th April and it was chaotic. The kids were uncontrollable. Parents were unwilling to co-operate, weather's hot and kids kept crying. It nearly drives me crazy! The whole USM thing was just a waste of my time. I actually applied for NPL , JUST to attend its MUNSyi test and then to realise that I was NOT even 'qualified' for interview for Mass Communication. Urgh!

I had hard time deciding when to quit my work but May has been a great month. I joined BB outing to Genting years after the previous one and was quite satisfied because I got to ride 'The Flying Coaster'.I always missed the chance to play outdoor games due to bad weather everytime I went up. A new teacher came so I got transferred to another class so as to allow the kids to get used to being around that particular new teacher. Had my first Teacher's Day experience, not as a student this time but as a teacher. LOL. And yea, I got a rose! Nothing to brag about but there was this special feeling in me when I received the flower,I could feel her sincerity. And another funny case was, a child accidentally called me 'Mummy', in a very dearly tone. Aww....I mean, I really wish to have a child at that moment,a child to love, to pamper, to cherish.....

So, I finally quitted my work in mid-June.I was quite reluctant but I seriously need a break before leaving for studies. Yes, I've signed up for Uol External LLB with ATC Penang. I had my last dance lesson that Sunday too. I'm eager to leave for Penang to begin my new life there.

162. Why Shouldn't We be Picky with Food

Sometimes I just wish to dump some kids who refuse to eat just because the food prepared for them does not satisfy their taste buds in Africa where the people there barely have enough food to eat. But, I wont force the kids to finish the whole bowl of tasteless noodles nor to throw the leftover into the bin but rather scoop only a little to the kids and if they were to ask for more, I would certainly be glad to scoop more for them. I am totally against scolding kids who are picky. They are still naive and need to be taught step-by-step.

While it is still alright for kids to be picky but being an adult and still picky is totally intolerable! Not to say I ain't selective with food. I don't eat squid and wouldn't even bother to scoop one for myself but certainly won't throw it away when offered by others either. My family know I don't really favour eating pork and they assumed I don't eat pork at all so I was not given a share when mum bought roasted pork. I DO eat roasted pork and especially like the crunchy layer. What would I do? I would yell like an ignorant brat. Thinking back, I feel ashamed of my misbehavior.

Unless you are allergic to certain food and people would certainly considerate enough to let you go from forcing you to swallow those food only to cause you getting rashes all over the body after that.

How will others view you when you show your picky part outside? You are no a 3 or 4-year-old kid.If you are religious, I believe you are taught to be appreciative with everything laid upon you including food. What did you mean by saying,' Who is that ass who created the tradition of giving away chocolate on Valentine's Day? I wanna kill that ass.' Giving away chocolate is a way of showing love and appreciation. I expect the receiver to feel the same, be grateful. Those WORDS blurted out of your mouth not only hurt the feelings of the giver but also listeners. Whoever 'terasa', please do some reflections lah~!

161.Things I want to do before I die

Owhkay,I think I should post something before February ends.

I wonder if you guys watched 'The Buried Life' which aired on 8TV every Wednesday at 9.30 pm. This is actually a reality programme about four graduates who find normal life boring so they teamed up and tour around the country and work to accomplish their list of things they want to do before they die and for every episode, they will do a good deed such as donating to orphanage etc. Their list includes tasks such as 'To deliver a baby','To date your dream girl','To play basketball with Obama' etc.
Personally, I find this show quite meaningful and thought, I too have a list of things I want to do before I die.

Things I want to do before I die:(I never dared to do some of the tasks)
1)Wear bikini(not in Malaysia)
2)Cosplay
3)Drift ride
4)Join Jane Austen Literature Tour
5)Go to jail(maybe get caught driving without license and identity card-can get into jail arr?)
6)Boy-cut with golden-to-white dye.
7)Try-out either beauty pageant/singing/modelling audition(for the sake of having fun) Heez.
8)Go for a blind date.
9)Watch a live match at Stamford Bridge.
10)Hot air balloon ride.(Seriously, I have never tried this before and sooo wanna try it anytime soon)

160. Twenty

I'm 20 already! Sounds so old man. And regretted having my Facebook wall privatised cause now, I need to check inbox messages (those bday wishes) one by one. Ah~

I wasn't really looking forward to my birthday actually cause I felt sickly and so don't wanna get any older but still, have to accept the fact right? LOL.

My birthday wish is very simple ni- get into university and a boyfriend perhaps? LOL.

Let's see how I spent my first day being twenty-As usual, send bro to school before going to MMSB.Had lunch with MGS gang at Greentown Old Town right after work. So happy to see them honestly and especially when mayjet played with her phone camera, farrnnnneeeee! Wished that Lydia were with us too~

Then later that night, I went to join the ACS gang at Capucino Cafe. It was as if we've booked the whole cafe. LOL. Kinda grateful that some could make it cause it was Wednesday night. So weird lur coming out for yumcha or whatever on Wed night.

Received some nice books to read. Awwww~~ And dad bought me styling iron. I had my first attempt yesterday before going to Capucino and obviously I failed. LOL.

Jiafoong asked if I told the kindergarten kids that it was my birthday and that I could use the excuse to make the kids to listen to me. What a waste..I forgotten about that. LOL.

By the way, I indirectly have a 'daughter' from the kindergarten. This girl would always want ME. Her name is Chloe by the way.She cries to school EVERY morning and will only stop when she sees me and I must never lose my grip or she'll cry again. Other times she's adorable lively girl but provided I am in sight. She is so popular at school now. Every teacher knows her. And the boys in the class love her too. They will always come and 'sayang' her. There's this boy who even tried to imitate her mum kissing her cheek which she usually do before leaving. How daring of him!

There are some students who are quite troublesome though. There is this Indian boy who will cry out of sudden asking for mummy. But, he calls me,someone who has just turned 20 -Auntie and another teacher, who is 40plus- Teacher. So unfair!

Actually I'm quite sad that my house pup passed away .Plus,on the morning of my birthday. I kinda miss him welcoming me home from work.

Lastly, I sincerely thank all who wished me.

Happy happy~~
